Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 large egg
- 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer, mix together sugars, butter and egg.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Combine with the sugar mixture, then add the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon or use a cookie scoop to drop cookie dough onto ungreased or parchment lined baking sheets. Place about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Do not over-bake.
