Ingredients
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- 3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups oats
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, egg, water and vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture, beat on low until blended.
- Stir in oats and raisins.
- Drop onto parchment lined baking sheets. Press down for crispy cookies or leave rounded for chewy cookies.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Do not over-bake.
