Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, egg, water and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture, beat on low until blended.
  4. Stir in oats and raisins.
  5. Drop onto parchment lined baking sheets. Press down for crispy cookies or leave rounded for chewy cookies.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Do not over-bake.
