Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets, approximately 6 ounces each
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375˚F.
- Marinate the salmon: Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish. In another bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Pour about half the marinade over the salmon and make sure all sides are coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 3 or 4 hours.
- Place salmon fillets, skin side down, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until done.
- While salmon is baking, bring remaining marinade to a boil in a small saucepan or skillet, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 3-5 minutes or until slightly thickened. This can burn very quickly so keep a close watch.
- Drizzle the glaze over the salmon and serve.
