Deep-fried ravioli are the perfect bite-sized snack to get any party started! Served with marinara for dipping, theyβre a fun and flavourful appetizer to serve at any gathering!
Ingredients
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Approximately 1 cup buttermilk
- Approximately 2 cups Italian style bread crumbs
- 1 package of store bought cheese ravioli
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 jar store bought marinara sauce (warmed) for dipping
Instructions
- Pour approximately 2 inches of vegetable oil into a large frying pan. Over medium heat bring the oil to 325 degrees F.
- Dip ravioli in buttermilk and then dredge in the bread crumbs.
- Fry the ravioli in batches, turning occasionally until golden brown, roughly 3 minutes. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Sprinkle with parmesan and serve with the warmed marinara for dipping.
