Ingredients
- 8 oz package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup softened butter or margerine
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Combine cream cheese, sugar, and butter. Mix well.
- Blend in bananas and eggs.
- Stir the dry ingredients together in a bowl and then combine with the banana mixture, just until moistened. Do not over-mix.
- Pour into a greased and floured 9x5” loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hr and 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
