Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup finely diced onion
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Make the Glaze ~ Combine ketchup brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl, set aside.
  3. In a large bowl mix together milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper.
  4. Add meat, onions and breadcrumbs and stir until combined.
  5. Put the turkey mixture into a loaf pan and use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface.
  6. Bake the loaf for 40 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven, spread glaze on top and bake for 10 more minutes or until completely cooked.
  8. If necessary, broil for a couple of minutes to caramelize the top.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
